Art Nouveau Mahogany Writing Desk, circa 1910
A lovely Art Nouveau mahogany writing desk. Having a central writing slide which opens to real pigeon-holes. Flanked by two upper drawers having pierced brass galleries. The beautifully carved central slide pull has two drawers to either side, all drawers having nice brass handles. The whole stands on the prettiest slender cabriole legs which terminate with ceramic castors. An attractive, functional piece of antique furniture. Slight wear to the edges of the leather writing area, a new leather skiver could easily be implemented if needed. Dimensions: H 40.5 in. x W 42 in. x D 21 in.
