Edwardian Oak Tambour Desk Circa 1910
A Fine Edwardian Oak Tambour Desk. Having a large upper bookshelf with tambour below. The tambour opens to reveal pigeon holes and paper and document shelves. Two small drawers and wonderful slide out inkwells or artists jars. Below are two graduated banks of four drawers with slide pulls above. Attractive Art Nouveau brass drawer pulls adorn the tambour and drawer fronts. The whole standing on eight original ceramic castors. Crafted in Britain with makers plate to Tambour front. Having a beautiful warm colour and patina. Becoming increasingly hard to find in their original and complete condition. Keys included. Would suit a modern or traditional interior.
