Oval Oak Dining Table and Six Chairs by Titchmarsh & Goodwin
A lovely reproduction set made by the esteemed English makers Titchmarsh & Goodwin. All items were handmade in Suffolk by skilled craftsman. The firm was established almost 100 years ago in 1920. The set cost over £7000 when ordered around fifteen years ago so grab a bargain! The set consists of a Wake table or Gateleg of oval form. Six comb-back Windsor Chairs, consisting of four regular and two carvers. The chairs are replicated from a famous chair made in Banbury in Oxford around the year 1800. They are beautifully made with comb back, crinoline stretchers and traditional cabriole legs. We also have for sale the accompanying oak server. Dimensions: Table length 6feet, when closed 22.5 inches. Width when open 4feet 6 inches. Seat height 18 inches. Server measures 4 feet wide, 18.5 inches deep and 30 inches in height.
