Set of Eight Simulated Rosewood and Brass Inlaid Dining Chairs
A set of eight early 19th century period simulated rosewood and brass inlaid dining-chairs of Classic Regency form. The seats will be newly upholstered and covered in a new cream fabric if so desired, or you can arrange your own upholster to apply a fabric of your choice as a few of the chairs have large stains. The seats remove easily so its a fairly straightforward recover job. The backs with a delightful flowing scroll and leaf carved decoration with central scallop shell decoration and inset gilt brass rose emblem. The back rail with matching central emblem and the front seat rail having nicely detailed inlaid cut-brasswork. Standing on four Classic sabre legs. The chairs vary in size with the smallest being Height 85cm, width 41cm, seat depth 43cm, seat height 47cm.
