Description

A smart British studio pottery table lamp by Colin Kellam, dating from the 1960s/70s. The cylindrical stoneware body has a wonderfully textured Brutalist design, with an oatmeal-toned glaze contrasting with heavily worked bands of earthy brown and iron-rich glazes.
A particularly good example of Kellam’s more sculptural work, with plenty of texture and character. Stamped to the base with makers mark.
Wired with a traditional braided flex and shown here with a contemporary woven shade. PAT tested.
