A 19th Century Dutch Ash and Oak Linen Press / Cabinet
A delightful mid to late 19th-century Dutch ash and oak linen press with bombe front. The upper section with two doors enclosing four shelves, the bottom two incompassing two long and three shorter drawers. The complete upper section breaks down into several sections for ease of installation. The attractive lower bombe drawer section holds four graduated drawers, two short and two long. The bottom drawer is huge and cavernous! The whole standing of large lions paw feet with cartouche decoration to the central corniche. The piece has a fantastic colour and grain and is adorned with brass ironmongery. The upper cabinet is 18.5″ deep. A good looking, cleverly designed and functional antique that would suit a modern or period interior. Comes complete with key. Dimensions: H 98 in. x W 67 in. x D 24 in.
