Description
A Large Pair of Early C20th Swan Neck Street Lamps. Salvaged from Brighton promenade they probably would have been gas lamps and Brighton converted the street lights to electric throughout the 1930/40’s. Made from iron and steel they have their original Holophane glass shades for electric. Most likely made by BLEECO The Brighton Lighting and Electrical Engineering Co. Limited based in St. Martin’s Place, Brighton and Worthing. Wired and in working order they would make a great statement piece in your home or garden standing at 108cm tall. In good condition with wear commensurate with age just a crack to one shade but it’s stable with no loses.
