A Rare Pair Of  Italian Midcentury Bedside Cabinets. Extremely stylish and beautifully made. Having inset tops and fitted glass. Finished in the most wonderful Birds Eye Maple veneers. One cabinet providing two drawers while the other has a single cupboard. Both have lovely stepped moulding to their top and bottom. Standing on stylish beech wood bases with brass mount caps to the front legs. The cabinet fronts have attractive inlaid stringing and brass detail in between their outer mouldings. Pretty brass handles complete the look. Condition wise they have wear commensurate with age as you would expect with vintage furniture of this age. There are old repairs and small losses to the tops, nothing that detracts too much. The brass detailing in the front panels is faded in parts but this is more patina than damage. The tops have glass which can be removed if you so wished. They could also work well as lamp or end tables.
