A charming Victorian Brass and Stained Glass Hall Lantern. The lantern topped by four delicate out swept arms that connect to the pretty pierced gallery which has a raised petal with applied decoration, the lantern arms terminate with pretty finials. The square lantern has leaded stained glass panels mixed with ruby, blue and amber glass. Each panel with a central bevelled clear glass. Brass corners and lower pierced gallery complete the structure. Their is a small ceiling rose and chain attached to the lantern. This lovely old lantern carries its life’s scars. There are a few small pieces of glass missing in three places roughly 1cm in size. There are old solder repairs but when the light is hung it will be fine. We will all have a few repairs if we make it to over 100 years old! A highly attractive and decorative ceiling light that will enhance any setting.
