Description
A handsome small-proportioned chest of drawers in oak, American and dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1880–90. The carcass shows panelled sides and a figured top with rounded corners. Each of the three full-width drawers has an inset, oval moulded panel and carved leaf-and-berry wooden pulls that add character and interest.
Bracket feet and a clean plinth base complete the design.
Nicely sized for a bedroom, hallway or living space where compact storage is needed, also ideal as a lamp table or for children’s rooms.
Condition: Good overall with wear commensurate with age and use. Scuffs, small knocks and colour variation to the drawer fronts.
