A delightful C19th Chinoiserie Lacquered Secretaire Bookcase on Stand. Beautifully decorated with traditional chinoiserie detail of Maidens and Scholars with an abundance of Flora and Fauna. Topped with a scrolled pediment, the paneled doors enclosing bookshelves and two drawers. The fold-out desk is below with pen trays and two hidden compartments. The whole sitting on a stand with inset slides for the desk. An extremely pretty and good-looking functional piece of antique furniture.
