A Large Thirty Two Drawer Haberdashery Cabinet by Elliotts of Reading. Circa 1930. Two banks of sixteen drawers above double sliding doors. The doors with brass pull handles enclose two shelves. Elliots a famous furniture and joinery works were founded back in the 1850’s by Samuel Elliot. The company grew and expanded through the 1900’s and in 1951 due to the quality of their workmanship were chosen to Exhibit in the Festival of Britain on London’s south bank.
