A Victorian Satinwood Breakfront Compactum Wardrobe

A handsome Victorian satinwood breakfront compactum wardrobe, circa 1860, in the manner of Holland and Sons, London. The moulded cornice above three arch moulded doors surmounted by carved cabochon and foliate cresting. The central mirrored door flanked by kingwood crossbanded panel doors, the larger section opening to a comprehensive arrangement of fitted drawers and sliding trays. The smaller right-hand section with a hanging rail above a single drawer. All the drawers having attractive campaign style brass handles, the whole standing on a plinth base. An attractive and extremely functional antique, becoming increasingly rare. Dimensions:   221cm high  x 172cm wide x 62cm deep
