A striking and unusual set of four bentwood dining chairs dating to circa 1900, each featuring embossed leather seats and shaped backrests decorated with superb Renaissance Revival grotesque masks framed by scrolling foliate motifs. The 16-inch round seats, turned legs, and stylish pierced cross‑stretchers showcase the refined craftsmanship associated with Thonet and J.&J. Kohn during this period.
Beautiful colour, excellent condition, recently cleaned and waxed.
